This is an area I frequently check on and have noticed that flights are often $558 on up to fly Nonstop SLC to MSP. Seeing prices drop below $500 is surprising. In the interest of full disclosure, Basic Economy is $439 roundtrip. Main cabin economy is $509 roundtrip, which is such a good deal that I may need to encourage my mom who lives in Salt Lake to visit my sister who lives in Minneapolis.

If you make it to Minneapolis, the lakes surrounding the city are always a favorite. Lake Harriet is wonderful to walk around. Rent yourself some standing paddle boards and drop them into Lake of the Isles, or buy a fun treat at Lake Calhoun. Nearby is the Walker Art Center with it’s accompanying Sculpture Garden. Sebastian Joe’s in Linden Hills is always a favorite place for ice cream, especially during the hot and humid Minnesota August. A favorite business hotel: Marriott Courtyard Minneapolis West. Enjoy!
